Quick bayblab link to an article about geniuses who utilized the awesome power of lasers to combat the most annoying insect. (I don't know how I missed this, it's old news.).

Exactly. The mosquitoes aren't killed by the lasers. They actually die from severe dehydration after extended dancing. In all seriousness, this is a really interesting method. I was also checking out how those Mosquito Magnets worked. They use carbon dioxide and a mosquito vacuum.
