Ampulex compressa

I saw this on Slashdot article on Friday but it was way too busy to get. This Ampulex compressa wasp has a really cool way of killing it's prey.

Have you guys ever heard of that snail parasite, which has a life stage inside birds' gut. It rewires the snail's neural centers to make it do risky behaviours, like walk on an exposed leaf and flail its antennas around to attract the bird's attention.
