SEM pics
Here are some scanning electron microscopy pics. Any guesses as to what these things are? Maybe it's obvious, I just forgot how awesome these things look.

mmmm
changing my mind to pollen...
yep, pollen.
damn nature, you scary!
*whispers*
alien overlords...
They look like pollen to me... although I am also going to throw a possible 'diatom' vote out there.
(although, they look more like pollen)
CHEATERS!
If you blow up the top pic it says something about pollen at the bottom. Good job for all those who actually knew. (ie none of you)
lol, actually I'm not smart enough to do that. I just have seen these types of pics before.
What confused me was the bottom image. The pollen are heterogeneous...is it a mixture of different pollens or something?
Dude I have to say I'm so glad to find your blog, even though I did it by a fluke. The information posted here is interesting and entertaining. In short, a really nice blog.
Must say thsat tihs is beautiful I like it
I enjoyed following the whole entry, I always thought one of the main things to count when you write a blog is learning how to complement the ideas with images, that's exploiting at the maximum the possibilities of a ciber-space! Good work on this entry!
