Found this scat in my backyard. This is one of three piles near an apple tree. Any experts out there? I'm thinking it's a large cuddly vegetarian rabbit.

yeah definitely a bear... from the size of it. Any paw prints around? or black hairs on tree barks....

gotta be bear... see here http://www.bear-tracker.com/blackbearscat.html and do a google image search for bear scat. I think you just wanted someone to say it was a moose or something!
