Atheists for Jesus

The always entertaining, always provacative Richard Dawkins did this great Q&A with the general public via email. The questions just about cover it all and cut right to the point, for example:

Are people who advocate intelligent design stupid, and do you think natural selection will operate to remove them from future generations?

Not surprinsingly, the reponses are intelligent and often extremely funny. I recommend. 10e692 bayblab points.

Reading through his answers, am I the only one who sees the irony that he rejects the notion of God due to lack of evidence but fully believes in that other 'myth' Global Warming?

I think that is actually his main point. That a scientific theory even if ultimately falsified is still a coherent explanation of the natural world based on evidence. It's the best possible explanation and it makes predictions that can be falsified. Hence there is no need to "believe" in the first place...
