An Encyclopedia of Life
Biologist E.O. Wilson tells us how the Earth is rapidly losing biodiversity and proposes we catalogue it in an electronic "Encyclopedia of Life" before it's all gone. Great talk below and check out of sampling of the proposed website format. We desperately need this type of resource, and sadly, it will probably be all that's left of many species a few years from now.
